The other day, a customer complained to me that he had bought two Renault CAN Clip diagnostic tools and had them installed well, but one of the CAN clip can work, while the other one cannot. The 4 led lights of the first CAN clip were on, while the lights of the other one would not illuminate. He supposed one of the two tools was damaged.
I told him to take a picture of the problem and it seemed that he had connected the two Renault obd2 diagnostic tools to the same computer at the same time, which made the computer not able to identify the tools. The customer then told me he connected them one by one, but had installed their softwares in the same computer.
Well, this must be the problem – auto diagnostic softwares of different tools are not advised to install in one computer because the softwares may interrupt each other. So I had him uninstall the second software and reinstall it in a new PC. And both of the two tools could work normally then.
